Greetings from Indianapolis, Mr. Jennings.

Thanks for making your presentation to the ISA one of the most engaging and interesting I've seen in my many years of shooting events of this type. Having recently chosen to step away from a very comfortable but not very challenging job in government to pursue my passion for documentary production, I found your insights to be especially valuable. You mentioned that some of the most successful companies began with just one or two people, I'll be counting on that.

Passion about one's work is the key element to achieving the purest form of success, which is a sort of vocational self-respect. As you watch a copy of your presentation you'll see my camera occasionally creep in closer and closer, just to see if I can keep up with you and not let you slip from my sights. You scored a couple of points on me, when I "zigged" as you "zagged," but I think I held my own. You're right, we all love to keep score.

All the best to you and hitting your "80" this year and knocking out your next five books. Be sure to take sometime and hit a beach south of the border -- you can call it Spanish homework. Maybe I'll see you in Puerto Vallarta the next time I'm down that way.

Hasta la proxima, Senor Jennings. Platicando con usted fue un gran placer.

Best Regards,
Ray Gonzales
